3PLs With No Monthly Minimum: Published Fees Compared
For stores shipping roughly 10–300 orders a month. Every fact below links to the provider's own page and shows the date we checked it. If a provider does not publish a number, we say not published. We do not guess.

3 ShipBob's affordable-fulfillment page (checked 2026-10-21) confirms "a minimum monthly spending requirement for fulfillment and minimum order volume requirements" without amounts. Third-party reviews report $275/month after a 90-day grace period; ShipBob's site does not confirm that figure, so it is not used in our table. More in ShipBob alternatives for small stores.
What a 30-order month costs (published fees only)
Example: 30 single-item orders and a small catalog. Service fees only, before postage.
- EdCo: 30 × $3.00 + one $25 storage position = $115. EdCo's own worked example gives the same figure. Add $0.50 per label if EdCo generates it.
- Hermeslines: 30 × $0.99–$1.57 (by packaging) + one pallet at $15.99 = about $46–$63. Receiving is extra.
- eFulfillment Service: 30 × $1.15 + $25 support + bins = about $60 plus bin storage. Receiving is not published.
- Simpl: the $750 floor applies, but postage is included. That makes it a different comparison.
How to choose
- Ask for an itemized sample invoice based on your real last 30 days of orders.
- Compare postage, not just per-order fees. Some 3PLs mark up labels.
- Check the warehouse location against where your customers are.
- Ask about storage minimums and long-term storage surcharges.
- Start with your cleanest SKUs and 30–60 days of stock.
FAQ
Which 3PLs have no monthly minimum?
As of 2026-10-21, EdCo Fulfillment, Hermeslines and eFulfillment Service each state on their own websites that they have no monthly minimum. Simpl Fulfillment ($750/month, pay-the-difference) and ShipMonk (calculated per account) do have minimums. ShipBob says it has a monthly spend minimum and an order-volume minimum but does not publish the amounts.
Is a no-minimum 3PL always cheaper for a small store?
No. A minimum only matters if your usage falls below it. Compare the all-in monthly cost, including pick and pack, extra items, storage, receiving, labels or postage markup, and support fees, at your actual order volume.
What fees do no-minimum 3PLs still charge?
Usually pick and pack per order, a fee per additional item, storage by bin, shelf or pallet, and receiving. Some also charge a support or account fee, a postage markup, or a per-label fee. The table lists each fee as published, and marks it 'not published' when the provider does not list it.
How did you verify these numbers?
Each figure comes from the provider's own public pricing page or terms, which we read on the date shown. We do not use third-party estimates in the main table. See the methodology page.
