No-Minimum 3PL Guide

ShipBob Alternatives for Small Stores: No-Minimum 3PLs, Fees Sourced

For stores shipping roughly 10–300 orders a month that have been told they are too small, or that can't get a straight price. Every number below links to the provider's own page with the date we checked it. If a provider doesn't publish a number we say not published.

Checked 2026-10-21. Prices change. Ask any 3PL for an itemized sample invoice built from your last 30 days of orders before you sign.

FAQ

Does ShipBob have a monthly minimum?

Yes. ShipBob's own affordable-fulfillment page (checked 2026-10-21) says there is a minimum monthly spending requirement for fulfillment and minimum order volume requirements, but it does not state either amount. Third-party reviews report $275 a month in fulfillment and kitting fees after a 90-day grace period; ShipBob's site does not confirm that figure.

What is the best ShipBob alternative for a store shipping under 100 orders a month?

Look at 3PLs that state no monthly minimum on their own sites. As of 2026-10-21 that includes EdCo Fulfillment (Oregon), Hermeslines (Ohio) and eFulfillment Service. Pick by warehouse location versus your customers, and by how you are billed for storage.

Is Simpl Fulfillment a no-minimum ShipBob alternative?

No. Simpl publishes a $750 monthly minimum billed pay-the-difference, with merch drops exempt. Its per-order fee includes postage, so compare total cost rather than pick fees.

Why can't I compare ShipBob's fees directly?

ShipBob's pricing page lists fee categories (implementation, receiving, warehousing, pick, pack and ship) but no dollar amounts. Quotes are customized per merchant, so you need a written quote to compare.

Can I leave ShipBob for a smaller 3PL?

Usually yes, but check your agreement for notice periods first. Ask the new 3PL for a receiving date, move your fastest SKUs first, and keep selling from the old stock until the new warehouse confirms counts.
